using an abbreviated dial code (#NOW) on cell phones, combined with voice recognition and email, to facilitate consumer responses to advertising and promotions.
- Part of team which raised approximately $3.0 million from Elbit (Israeli investor) to support
launch of #NOW service and introduce other Elbit technologies to the US.
- Worked with PWC and Harris Interactive to research consumer preferences and develop
relationships with major US cellular carriers. Worked with NBC and Microsoft to launch #NOW in support of Olympic promotion. Elbit acquired/dissolved by parent company 2002.

- Hired as SVP Finance to revamp internal management reporting to sync with GAAP external
reporting, replace/upgrade worldwide financial staff as required and prepare Company to go public in 1999. Admitted to Partnership Board 1997.
- Member of IPO road show team along with CEO and CFO. Y&R went public ahead of original
timetable, in May 1998.
- Led investor relations and participated in two subsequent road shows for secondary offerings.
- Promoted to EVP of Wunderman, direct marketing arm of Y&R, in March 1999. Led acquisition
of KnowledgeBase Marketing and studied other acquisitions/investments in the digital marketing space.

- Hired as Assistant Controller for Planning and SEC reporting; promoted to Controller, Chief
Accounting Officer 1987; appointed member of Operations Committee (senior management group for corporate governance, strategic direction and interface with Board of Directors) in 1988, adding Corporate IS and Tax to responsibilities; promoted to SVP in 1993.
- Worked on acquisitions of MTV Networks, Paramount and Blockbuster; supported numerous
public offerings, at times dealt directly with the SEC; wrote external financial presentations, including all quarterly earnings releases 1985 – 1994.
- Helped formulate strategy and launch Viacom Pictures (now Showtime Movies) to provide lower-
cost programming to Showtime as well as product which could be exhibited or sold by other Viacom operations; appointed as CFO in addition to Corporate responsibilities.
- Promoted to SVP CFO/CIO of MTV Networks in 1995.
